The Wallkill River originates in Sparta, NJ and flows 90 miles with its waters reaching the Hudson River.  AmeriCorps NJ Watershed Ambassador Ethan Meiniczek will show how the land surrounding the Wallkill River affects the water and the life in the river.   He will bring live macroinvertebrates from a local stream for attendees to see and identify.

All ages are invited.  Children will enjoy exploring the water samples searching for the small creatures from the river.
