Friends of Wallkill River NWR have purchased trees to plant along the river and are seeking volunteers to help for the day.  Working with the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and the NJ Watershed Ambassadors Program, we are improving the riparian habitat.  We are inviting you to be a part of the project.

Shovels and work gloves will be provided.  The planting location may be wet.  Wear clothes and work boots that can get dirty.  Some rubber boots are available.  Friends will provide some refreshments.
